Temper Outbursts
The majority of children have temper outbursts, it’s the simplest way for a child to express how they are feeling at that moment. children want to communicate and they have emotions they want to express, but they may not have the language to communicate leading to frustration which can cause a child to have temper outbursts.

Infants
infants express their needs through crying when they are hungry, tired, nappy needs changing.
Toddlers
Around the age of 2-3 toddlers generally have temper tantrums this can be enhanced when tired, hungry.
Young children
By the time young children start school they usually have fewer temper tantrums as they have learned coping skills but will also understand parents/carers may at times give in to temper outbursts
Children
Older and school aged children don’t often have temper outbursts but at times children of this age may become stressed, overwhelmed due to tests/exams, tired, hormones.
